MD sir’s visit to the Council for Leather Export (CLE) at Chennai
During his Chennai visit LIDCOM MD Dhammajyoti Gajabhiye sir had visited the ‘Council for Leather Export’ , a national level institute engaged in promotion of leather products. Where he suggested to work in collaboration with CLE for the promotion of leather products manufactured at LIDCOM facilities. He suggested to implement the following things:
- Promotion & marketing of 'Kolhapur Chappal' at International level through CLE chennai office
- To enable workers in the leather industry to visit & to set up stalls at national & international level Leather exhibition/expo
- Arrange visit to chennai & Kolkata for workers engaged in Leather & Footwear Industry through a group of 15 members at a time
- To did a Survey of Kolhapuri chappal production zone & workers therein through KPMG
Promote & boost the Leather Industry and people engaged in Leather Industry of the Maharashtra State, Government of Maharashtra has established a company under the Company Act, 1956.
