MD sir’s visit to The General & Industries Leather Pvt. Ltd at Chennai
During his chennai visit LIDCOM MD Dhammajyoti Gajabhiye sir had visited a private leather manufacturing company, where in he observed the following things:
- Leather manufacturing process
- Required chemicals
- Coloring process
- Export & Material planning
- Process of how to convert raw leather into fined leather
Based on his observations he suggested to implement following things at LIDCOM
- Improved availability of required finished leather for LIDCOM's manufacturing centers
- Proposed plan to develop "Raw Material Bank of leather workers & establishment of Leather Cluster
Promote & boost the Leather Industry and people engaged in Leather Industry of the Maharashtra State, Government of Maharashtra has established a company under the Company Act, 1956.
